Construction Bookkeeper

📍 Wyomissing, PA | Full-Time | Onsite (Hybrid after onboarding)

💰 $75,000–$85,000 base salary

Our client is a stable and growing engineering company seeking an experienced Construction Bookkeeper to support their accounting and project cost functions. This is a full-time, onsite role in Wyomissing, PA, with the ability to work one day per week from home after an initial onboarding period.

What You’ll Do

• Process incoming checks and prepare bank deposits
• Maintain financial records in QuickBooks
• Perform monthly account and bank reconciliations
• Track and manage Work in Progress (WIP)
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and quarterly statements
• Assist with state and federal reporting
• Prepare annual tax documentation for an outside CPA
• Support biweekly payroll by calling in hours (no payroll processing)
• Perform project and cost accounting for engineering and construction projects

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (construction or engineering preferred)
• Strong QuickBooks experience
• Knowledge of job costing, WIP, and project accounting
• Experience with AR and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
