Remote Estimator – Industrial Piping & Refrigeration

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing industrial piping and refrigeration team. This is a remote role with local client visits and occasional overnights, offering the opportunity to work independently on high-value, complex projects.

Position Overview

The Estimator will be responsible for independently visualizing project scope from drawings, preparing estimates, and supporting multiple industrial projects per month. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a niche, growing division and has strong technical skills in piping takeoffs and blueprint interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for industrial piping and refrigeration projects, up to $4M each
• Handle approximately 1–2 estimates per week, totaling around 4 projects per month
• Visualize project scope independently from drawings
• Collaborate with project teams and clients as needed
• Maintain organized documentation and estimation records

Qualifications

• 5+years of industrial piping or refrigeration estimating experience
• Strong blueprint reading, piping takeoffs, and scope visualization skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation & Schedule

• Up to $90,000, depending on experience
• Fully remote role with occasional travel for client visits
