Production Manager

Location: Near Wilmington, DE

Schedule: Onsite | 40hrs/week Monday to Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee high-volume assembly operations in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on workflow management, people leadership, quality, and on-time delivery.

The Production Manager will be highly visible on the production floor, working closely with supervisors and assembly teams to ensure operational efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion of work
• Manage schedules, priorities, and workflow to meet operational goals
• Lead a team of employees through supervisors or team leads, providing guidance and accountability
• Conduct regular floor or worksite walkthroughs to monitor output and address issues
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and improve processes to enhance efficiency
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors or team leads regarding workload, capacity, and performance
• Generate reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making
• Coordinate with maintenance, vendors, or external partners to ensure equipment and operational reliability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production management
• Strong background in production scheduling and workflow management
• Experience managing supervisors and hourly production teams
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, floor-based environment
• SAP experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiarity with internal production tracking systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: Up to $85,000, depending on experience
• Annual performance bonus: Up to $10K
