Job Title: Staff Accountant - Manufacturing

Location: Allentown, PA (Onsite 5 days/week)

Pay Rate: $50,000 – $75,000 annually

Are you an experienced full cycle accountant ready to step into a dynamic role with supportive senior leadership? You’ll work closely with the Controller and help build and scale accounting processes that matter!

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the general ledger and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform daily accounting tasks with debits/credits and reconciliations to support month end, quarter end, and year end close.
  • Support financial close processes, including account analysis and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the broader accounting team (AR, AP, Assistant Controller) to improve processes and controls.
  • Work with ERP and Excel to track, analyze, and report financial data.
  • Contribute to documentation and refinement of accounting procedures as the team evolves.
  • Provide insights and assistance that help improve financial reporting and operational transparency.

Tools & Systems:

• ERP System (training provided)

• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)

Compensation & Perks:

• Competitive Salary: $50,000 – $75,000 (DOE)

• Year end Bonus: modest performance bonus to reward your contribution

• Work Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Requirements (Must Have):

• 3–5 years of full cycle accounting experience as a Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

At least 1 year in a manufacturing accounting role or similar operational environment

• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting

• Experience with an ERP system (experience in Macola is a bonus, but not required)

• Comfortable with manual accounting processes for GL
