Hybrid Accounting Leadership Role

We are hiring a high-impact Controller for a profitable, founder-owned technology services company that has an astounding 100% customer retention rate over a 20+ year history and is growing 20%+ year over year!

You will function as a true right hand to the CFO with broad ownership across accounting, controls, forecasting, and operational finance in a business preparing for its next growth phase.

Comp and Benefits

• Salary: $100,000-$120,000/yr base (Exceptional candidates may be considered up to $130,000/yr)

Day to day:

• You will join a tight knit high-accountability team that values ownership problem solving and doing things the right way
• Manage 2 AP/AR Clerks and report to the CFO
• Leadership is approachable hands-on and invested in employee growth
• Own day to day accounting operations while elevating financial processes and controls
• Manage cash flow projections banking relationships and lender reporting
• Lead budgeting forecasting and long-range financial planning including a rolling five-year plan
• Own sales and use tax compliance across multiple states
• Manage fixed assets amortization schedules and long-term contract accounting
• Partner with operations to improve inventory management controls and reporting
• Reduce spreadsheet dependency by identifying automation and system improvements
• Collaborate closely with the CFO as a strategic thought partner and operational leader
• This role is ideal for an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller ready to step into a broader leadership position

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience required
• Multi-state tax experience
• Inventory control and budgeting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field required or equivalent experience
• Experience in multi-state operations inventory or project-based environments is a plus
• CPA or telecom technology services background is helpful but not required
