Title: PART TIME ACCOUNTANT ADMIN

Location: Maryland / DC Area - Lanham, Maryland. (onsite, within ~30–40 mile radius)

On Site Role PART TIME Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8-5!

Part Time - 3 days a week in office

We are hiring for a well-established commercial carpentry and millwork subcontractor, delivering high-quality work for commercial, multifamily, and institutional projects. Position Summary:

We’re looking for a motivated and organized Part-Time Accounting Admin to play a vital role in keeping our operations smooth and efficient. This is a hands-on, dynamic role that combines support in accounting, HR, payroll, administrative coordination, and project support. If you enjoy being fully involved in office operations and supporting both field and office teams, this is a great opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle HR tasks including onboarding, orientation, employee inquiries, and training support.
  • Process payroll and vendor/subcontractor payments, including printing checks for subcontracts and 1099s.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements, coordinate invoices and receipts with accounting.
  • Review and approve timesheets, ensuring accuracy for payroll processing.
  • Maintain office supplies, manage licenses and permits, and coordinate office upkeep.
  • Support project documentation and reporting, collaborating with project teams to keep work organized and on schedule.

Must-Have:

  • 4+ years of office administration experience
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Familiarity with payroll or accounting software

Nice-to-Have:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Background in construction, carpentry, millwork, or subcontractor administration
  • Previous roles as administrative assistant, office coordinator, or support in construction/subcontracting
