Bilingual Loan Servicing Specialist

The Bilingual Loan Servicing Specialist provides essential support to the Loan Operations team by managing loan servicing activities with precision and professionalism. This position ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across loan escrow, insurance tracking, and related administrative processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Contact insurance carriers and related third parties to confirm coverage, obtain renewals, and process payments.
  • Review insurance policies (including flood, hazard, and windstorm) for compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate escrow balances, generate annual analyses, and ensure timely disbursement of taxes and insurance payments.
  • Track property taxes, research delinquencies, and reconcile records through appropriate systems and county websites.
  • Manage loan data within servicing platforms; monitor exception reports and resolve discrepancies.
  • Issue payments for escrow disbursements via ACH or check and handle surplus distributions.
  • Support construction loan administration, including draw processing, lien releases, and documentation maintenance.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of assigned loan and general ledger accounts.
  • Manage servicing inbox communications, respond to transaction inquiries, and research loan-related issues.
  • Provide cross-functional support across the loan servicing team during peak workloads.
  • Assist senior management with reports, special projects, and administrative duties as requested.
  • Maintain compliance with all banking regulations, anti-money laundering standards, and internal procedures.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in loan servicing, escrow, or related back-office banking operations (community or large bank experience preferred).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented culture.
