An established, family-owned heavy civil construction company with over four decades of specialized expertise is seeking a Guardrail Estimator to join their dedicated team. Based just outside of Baltimore, this role offers a rare opportunity to take ownership of the estimating function for high-impact infrastructure projects across the state of Maryland.

With a rich history in bridge rehabilitation, guardrail installation, pile driving, and more — this firm is focused on rebuilding its project pipeline and is looking for someone who understands the nuances of guardrail and structural work from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for guardrail and bridge repair projects across Maryland
• Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site visits
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure thorough scoping
• Attend client and agency meetings as needed
• Support ongoing project performance reviews for multi-year contracts
• Provide measurement verification and documentation for field work
• Recommend new estimating tools and processes if applicable
• This isn’t a new-build commercial role — you'll focus on repair and structural integrity.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Hands-on Guardrail Estimating Experience – This is required

Experience with DOT or bridge work is highly preferred

Proficiency in spreadsheets; experience with ProBid a plus
