Loan Clerk/Service Specialist

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview:

A well-established community bank is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Administrator/Servicing Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional, collaborative environment with a strong team culture and room for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform loan servicing tasks including insurance follow-up, tax payments, and escrow management
• Maintain accurate and organized loan files and documentation
• Support the back-office loan servicing function
• Assist with balancing and reconciliations (training provided)
• Track and manage escrow payments and insurance policies (~50 policies/month)
• Manage approximately 15–20 loans per month

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience of loan servicing in a community or big bank
• Familiarity with insurance policy requirements (e.g., wind/storm coverage, deductibles)
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with basic Excel functions and general computer systems
• Degree not required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish
