Accounting and Business Operations Client Acquisition Coordinator
We’re seeking a Client Acquisition Coordinator to manage the end-to-end client acquisition process, from discovery calls to signed contracts, for a leading outsourced accounting and CFO services firm. In this role, you’ll work exclusively with inbound leads (no cold calling), guiding prospective clients through the early stages of their journey and ensuring a seamless handoff to senior financial leaders.
This is a fully remote role open to candidates in any U.S. time zone. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of sales enablement, operations, and project management experience along with a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management: Engage and qualify inbound leads generated from referrals, partnerships, and marketing channels, no cold calling required.
- Discovery Calls: Conduct 30-minute initial discovery conversations to understand client needs and pain points (no quoting at this stage).
- Project Coordination: Schedule and coordinate follow-up scoping calls with CFO-level team members, managing timelines and ensuring a smooth handoff.
- Process Oversight: Act as the “deal quarterback,” managing multiple client acquisition workflows simultaneously and keeping all parties aligned.
- Contract Facilitation: Draft, manage, and track contracts through signature, ensuring all agreements are finalized and compliant.
- Pipeline Optimization: Support ongoing marketing initiatives and internal scoping activities during slower lead periods to keep the pipeline moving.
What We’re Looking For
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and how small to mid-sized businesses operate.
- Professional Services Experience: Background in client services, account management, or operations within a B2B or professional services firm is highly preferred.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple deals, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously with precision and attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strategic thinker who can “see the forest and the trees” understanding the big picture while managing tactical execution.
- Relationship Builder: Polished communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills confident on calls and engaging in conversations (“gift of gab” a must!).
- Maturity & Presence: Trustworthy, professional, and poised able to engage directly with business owners and C-suite executives.
- Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $90,000–$120,000 DOE
- Commission: 1.75% of collected revenue from signed clients (average client = $10K–$11K/month)
