Sales Associate – Healthcare Real Estate

Location: Remote (Must be based in the DC/MD/VA area)

Compensation: Commission-Based | Third-Year Earning Potential: $500K+

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Our client is a highly specialized, family-owned healthcare real estate brokerage with over 30 years of experience advising hospitals, private equity-backed medical groups, and independent healthcare providers. The firm is known for its entrepreneurial culture, direct mentorship, and deep industry expertise.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced office broker that knows commercial RE to transition into healthcare real estate. While prior healthcare experience is not required, your brokerage background will be highly transferable, and the company provides full support to help you quickly adapt to this sector.

Role Overview

We are seeking a licensed commercial office broker who wants to specialize in healthcare real estate. You’ll leverage your existing transaction experience and client-development skills while gaining mentorship from industry leaders to deepen your expertise in healthcare.

This role is best suited for a broker who thrives in a commission-driven environment, excels at relationship-building, and is motivated by significant income potential with no ceiling.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your commercial real estate expertise to healthcare-related leasing and investment transactions
  • Lead business development through prospecting, networking, and direct outreach
  • Build and manage relationships with physicians, practice managers, hospitals, and healthcare decision-makers
  • Support marketing and client acquisition activities
  • Utilize platforms such as CoStar and Scout Space for lead generation and deal management

Ideal Candidate

  • Licensed office broker who knows RE &/or Licensed commercial RE professional with a proven track record in leasing, selling, tenant/landlord representation, or investment sales
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, and self-driven
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the DC/MD/VA region

Compensation & Growth Potential

  • Commission-based structure with no income cap
  • First-year earning potential: $100,000+
  • High performers typically generate $500,000+ in revenue by year three
