About the Role
A leading privately held real estate development and management firm is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join its team onsite in City of Industry. This is a high-impact role supporting enterprise applications across accounting, finance, property management, and construction functions. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and functional business knowledge, with a focus on ERP systems, process improvement, and user support.
You’ll work alongside a VP of Applications and another analyst, taking on a broad mix of responsibilities ranging from day-to-day troubleshooting to long-term system enhancements. This is a hands-on opportunity with plenty of autonomy, exposure to multiple business units, and the chance to drive meaningful change in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide user support and troubleshooting for ERP systems (primarily JDE) and related applications.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications across accounting, finance, property management, and construction areas.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvements and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
- Support AP automation software and other integrated applications.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, queries, and data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Assist in application integrations, workflow automation, and system optimizations.
- Maintain system documentation and functional specifications to ensure sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, application support, or ERP administration.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Yardi, or similar).
- Familiarity with Microsoft development tools (e.g., SharePoint or comparable).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to accounting workflows (A/P, A/R, G/L) and job costing or asset management.
- Report development exposure (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Hubble).
- Experience in real estate, property management, or construction environments.
Compensation
- Salary: $120K–$130K (DOE)
- Bonus potential based on overall company performance
- Direct-hire, full-time role
