Small Diameter Drilling Superintendent

We are looking for a seasoned Drilling Superintendent to lead field operations in micropile, earth retention, ground improvement, and deep foundation projects. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing multiple crews, equipment scheduling, safety, and project delivery in complex environments.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise multiple drilling crews, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on site.
• Plan and coordinate daily operations including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Work directly with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure schedules and budgets are met.
• Mentor and develop field leaders and crew members, building a strong safety-first culture.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges in the field and adapt to changing ground conditions.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in micropiles, anchored earth retention, drilled shafts, jet grouting, or similar specialty geotechnical drilling.
• Proven leadership experience running multiple rigs and crews.
• Deep knowledge of drilling equipment, tooling, and ground conditions.
• Strong track record of delivering safe, efficient, high-quality projects.
• Ability to coordinate manpower and equipment across multiple active jobs.

What We’re Not Looking For

• Pure oil & gas drilling backgrounds without exposure to micropiles or geotechnical foundations.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to large-diameter shaft drilling only.
• Short-term consultants who lack direct field management experience.
