Senior Leader – Capital Strategy & Investor Relations (Real Estate)
Real estate investment and asset management firm is seeking an experienced professional to lead its capital strategy and investor relations function. This senior-level position will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth investors, family offices, RIAs, and institutional partners, while shaping the firm’s overall fundraising and investor communications strategy.
This is a highly visible role that will collaborate closely with ownership and senior leadership, playing a key part in sourcing new investors, managing existing relationships, and ensuring the financial strength of current and future investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new high-net-worth, firms, and institutional investors.
- Build, strengthen, and manage long-term investor relationships through proactive communication and trust-building.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape capital raising and investment strategies that align with company growth objectives.
- Represent the firm at select investor conferences, networking events, and meetings
- Provide clear, consistent updates to investors on opportunities, performance, and market insights.
- Contribute to the structuring, negotiation, and closing of investment transactions.
- Collaborate across accounting, asset management, and operations to ensure investors receive accurate, timely reporting.
- Use CRM and investor management software to track activity and streamline investor engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or capital markets within commercial real estate, private equity, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of real estate asset classes
- Proven track record of building and managing investor networks; ideally brings an established book of high-net-worth/family office relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate investment strategies and build trust with sophisticated investors.
- Experience collaborating with ownership/executive teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency with CRM and investor platforms
