Travel: ~40% (client visits and conferences)
Salary: $150K-$180K per year DOE, bonus for funds generated, generous benefits, PTO, 401K plus match, all travel expenses covered
About the Role:
Our client, a growing real estate investment and asset management firm, is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to lead capital-raising efforts and manage investor communications. This onsite role based in Cincinnati, OH, requires approximately 40% travel and plays a key role in supporting the firm’s expansion through strategic investor engagement and capital strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead equity fundraising initiatives for new acquisitions and portfolio growth.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with HNWIs, RIAs, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Oversee capital stack structuring for deals.
- Maintain and expand an investor database aligned with varied return criteria.
- Manage clear, consistent communication with current and prospective investors.
- Track market trends to inform capital strategy and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate internally on the development of investor materials and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in real estate capital markets, investor relations, or fundraising—ideally in commercial and multifamily real estate.
- Proven track record of raising equity from both individual and institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of real estate finance and capital structuring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute effectively.
