Inside Sales – Electronic Components | Huntley, IL

We're looking for a tech-savvy Inside Sales Representative to help drive revenue growth for a growing electronics company specializing in lighting and electronic components. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Huntley, IL, where you'll manage a healthy mix of existing accounts and new business development opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage a portfolio of 40–70 B2B accounts, handling quoting, deal negotiations, and closing
  • Drive $1.5M+ in annual managed revenue
  • Develop: 12 new accounts per year through proactive outreach, referrals, and trade shows
  • Work closely with engineers and product managers to understand customer needs and technical product applications
  • Utilize CRM and ERP systems to manage pipeline, quoting, and forecasting

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in electronic components
  • Proven ability to handle a large book of accounts and close deals
  • Comfortable speaking the technical language of engineers, product developers, and procurement teams
  • Familiar with HubSpot or similar CRM tools, and ERP systems
  • Strong quoting and negotiation skills

Sales Cycle & Buyer Persona:

  • Sales cycles range from 1 week to several months
  • Typical buyers include procurement teams, product managers, and engineers
  • Deal sizes typically range from $5K–$10K+

  • Experience generating leads through trade shows, cold outreach, or referrals

Compensation:

  • $50K base salary + 1–2% commission
  • $30K+ commission potential based on $1.5M in annual sales
