Small Diameter Drilling Superintendent

Miami, FL | Onsite + Local Travel

We are seeking an experienced Small Diameter Drilling Superintendent to oversee micropile drilling operations on multiple fast-paced projects throughout South Florida. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be actively engaged in the field, directing crews, ensuring safety and productivity, and delivering high-quality results on projects ranging from a few million to $12M in scope.

This role offers the opportunity to join a highly respected geotechnical contractor with a long history of success, steady project flow, and significant growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead small-diameter drilling operations, including micropiles and other foundation drilling methods
  • Supervise and direct crews of 8–30, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work
  • Manage 4–5 projects at a time, with durations ranging from 1–2 weeks to several months
  • Oversee daily field activities, provide technical direction to drillers, and keep projects on schedule
  • Collaborate with foremen and drill operators to maintain smooth operations and resolve challenges quickly
  • Drive accountability, productivity, and safety across all field teams

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years of drilling experience, with at least 3–5 years in a superintendent or foreman role
  • Hands-on experience with micropiles, small diameter drilling, and rig operations
  • Strong rigging knowledge and ability to work alongside crews in the field
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams on multiple active projects
  • Fast-paced, detail-oriented leader who thrives in dynamic construction environments
