We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead and execute high-impact infrastructure projects in the water, wastewater, and utility sectors. This is a pivotal role for an individual who thrives on complex project delivery, contract negotiations, and cross-functional team leadership. You will be responsible for managing multiple high-stakes projects across Indiana, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of large-scale water, wastewater, and pipeline infrastructure projects—from preconstruction through close-out.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including field personnel, subcontractors, and engineers.
- Serve as primary point of contact for owners, engineers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources with precision and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior leadership.
- Identify risk factors and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- 10–12 years of progressive project management experience in water/wastewater, civil, or utility infrastructure construction.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar municipal or public works projects.
- Strong background in contract negotiations, budgeting, and schedule control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- PMP certification or similar project management credential is a plus.
