About Podqi

Podqi is a General Catalyst-backed company building an AI-powered platform that automates the detection, documentation, and takedown for IP infringement to protect corporations worldwide. We work with Fortune 20 companies, 3 of the 5 major entertainment studios, and some of the most popular D2C brands in the world. Our mission is to help the world’s most sophisticated IP owners protect their brands everywhere.

About The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team and help build Podqi's brand from the ground up. You'll work directly with our founding team on content creation, social media, and marketing campaigns that tell the story of how we're protecting some of the most iconic brands and artists in the world.

This is a part-time role (10-20 hours per week) through the spring semester, with the option to convert into a full-time summer internship. Remote friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Content creation: Help create compelling content for our blog, website, and social channels — translating technical product capabilities into stories that resonate with brands, law firms, and entertainment companies
  • Social media: Manage and grow our social presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant channels
  • Campaign support: Assist with marketing campaigns, product launches, and announcements
  • Design: Create visual assets for social posts, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Research: Track industry trends in brand protection, IP enforcement, and the broader entertainment and e-commerce landscape

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Highly self-directed — you don't need to be told what to do next
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out on the fly
  • Excited about startups and building something from scratch

Ideal Candidates May Also Have

  • Prior startup or early-stage company experience
  • Design skills (Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • An existing social media following or demonstrated social media expertise
  • A portfolio of prior marketing projects, writing samples, or creative work

Internship Details

  • Commitment: 10-20 hours per week
  • Duration: Spring semester, with option to convert to summer internship
  • Location: Remote-friendly

We're moving quickly to revolutionize how IP is protected in the digital age. If you're excited about getting hands-on marketing experience at a fast-growing startup and want to help tell the story of how we're revolutionizing IP protection, we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation

  • We offer competitive hourly compensation. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $20-25/hr, depending on experience.
