About the Role :

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Associate which plays a crucial role in ensuring company operates within the legal & regulatory frameworks, and internal policies. Your key responsibilities include providing legal advice and support to various departments, preparing and submitting regulatory reports, and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies.

Job Description :

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Ensure the implementation of matters related to compliance risks such as Anti-Money Laundering, Countering Financing of Terrorism & Prevention of Financing the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
• Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the company on legal issues.
• Provides regulatory reports as required and maintain constructive communication and relationship with related regulatory bodies.
• Keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements for provision of advice and support to top management on strategic activities, internal controls and daily operations in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirement.
• Assist in consultation raised by management, business units and operation teams relating to compliance questions and issues.
• Stay updated on changes in regulatory landscape and industry trends, proactively recommending enhancements to compliance programs and processes.
• Maintaining, filing and administering the legal and compliance database, e.g., regulations, corporate documents, business license, corporate approvals and agreements in the shared folder and/or the intranet.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or related field from reputable university.
• Proven experience in dealing with business licensing processes and mandatory reporting to OJK, PPATK.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial institution reporting to OJK (Having experience in Compliance AML would be an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial services regulatory.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• having anti-money laundering certification would be an advantage
