Role overview:

Sales operations strategist who is responsible for analyzing and optimizing financial and operational performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Sales Operations Associate role is dynamic, requiring a strategic mindset, quantitative analysis skills, and a commitment to driving performance within the organization. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the financial performance and operational success of the company while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of branch financials, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins. Provide actionable insights to enhance financial performance, including develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Monitor and review key operational and performance metrics (e.g. loan volume, redemption rates, transaction volume) and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and take proactive measures to address issues and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes, enhance customer service, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee cash handling processes and inventory management to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Lead the sales forecasting process, including analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and setting realistic sales targets.
  • Collaborate with branch managers to enhance customer service standards. Address escalated customer issues and implement initiatives to improve overall customer experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to branch managers and sales teams in the development and execution of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management, summarizing financial performance and operational metrics. Communicate insights derived from data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and implement risk management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Min. 2 years relevant experience in sales management, operations, business analysis, or a similar role.
  • Min. 1 year experience in offline retail operations operating 7 days /week (example: minimarket, pawnshop, food & beverages)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis and data interpretation to drive informed business decisions.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for process improvements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate operational insights to various stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to operations and process improvements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving business needs.
