Brand Designer
PhysicsX
About us
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Brand Designer to own and elevate the visual identity of PhysicsX. This role sits within the Marketing & Communications team and reports directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications.
This is a chance to define how one of the most ambitious companies in AI and engineering shows up in the world — across web, social, product narratives, events, recruiting, and beyond. You’ll shape our visual language and ensure that all the content we produce and publish feels distinct, coherent, and unmistakably PX.
You’ll work closely with our Content Strategist, Product Design team, leadership, and external agencies and collaborators to bring ideas to life visually and raise the creative bar across the organization. If you are a designer who cares deeply about craft, clarity, and storytelling — and wants to build an iconic brand from the ground up — this is the role.
We operate in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment where priorities can shift quickly and the path isn’t always linear. As we grow the team, you’ll be one of its founding members — which means real ownership, real impact, and real learning. If you thrive under pressure, enjoy solving problems on the fly, and like stretching beyond your comfort zone, you’ll feel at home at PX.
What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve the PhysicsX brand system — spanning typography, color, layout, iconography, imagery, and motion/3D — translating it into reusable assets, clear guidelines, and scalable design patterns.
- Build and maintain a high-quality template ecosystem (decks, one-pagers, case studies, social assets, event materials, etc.) that enables fast, consistent, and on-brand execution across teams.
- Partner closely with Product, Commercial, and Leadership teams to translate complex technical ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives.
- Design impactful visual assets across key channels — including the website, social, partner, and executive communications — with a strong focus on product storytelling, customer impact, and talent narratives.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to shape physical and experiential design — from booths and signage to motion assets, merchandise, and event environments for global moments.
- Provide hands-on design leadership for high-stakes launches and announcements, including major product releases, strategic partnerships, and flagship events.
- Safeguard brand consistency and quality across all internal and external touchpoints, ensuring every asset reinforces trust, clarity, and credibility.
- Act as a brand steward and multiplier, guiding teams on best practices, elevating design literacy, and proactively identifying where strong visual design can drive outsized impact.
About You
- 3–5 years of experience as a brand or visual designer, ideally within B2B tech, AI, or a deep-tech environment.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual storytelling, systems thinking, and exceptional aesthetic judgment.
- Skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion; familiarity with 3D is a bonus.
- Excellent collaborator — you enjoy partnering with writers, product designers, engineers, and PMs.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments; you’re comfortable managing multiple requests with clarity and focus.
- High-agency, proactive, and excited to build systems that scale.
