PhysicsX is a deep-tech company of scientists and engineers, developing machine learning applications to massively accelerate physics simulations and enable a new frontier of optimisation opportunities in design, engineering, and systems control.
We help our customers fundamentally improve their concepts and designs, transform their engineering processes and drive operational product performance. We do this in some of the most advanced and important industries of our time – including Renewables & Sustainability, Space, Aerospace, Medical Devices, Additive Manufacturing and Energy. Our work creates positive impact for society, be it by improving the design of artificial hearts, reducing CO2 emissions from aircraft and road vehicles, or increasing the performance of wind turbines.
We are a rapidly growing company but prefer to fly under the radar to protect our customers’ confidentiality. We are about to take the next leap in building out our technology platform and product offering. In this context, we are looking for capable and enthusiastic Product Designers to join our team. - Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions: Engage stakeholders through workshops and presentations to align on vision and ensure decision-making throughout the design process.
- Iterate for impact: Use user testing, analytics, and feedback to refine and optimise designs for maximum usability and impact.
- Champion user-centred practices: Advocate for best practices across teams while balancing commercial objectives and client needs.
- Mentor and elevate: Guide junior designers, fostering a culture of excellence in design across the organisation.
- Occasional travel to the US for client meetings and project work

- Communication skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
- Bonus points: Experience working with AI/ML interfaces, designing for data-heavy applications, working in an Engineering environment or familiarity with 3D tools (e.g., Blender, Houdini, Unity3D).
- Additionally, eligibility to work in the US is highly desirable
