Join us as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help make workplace giving effortless, transparent, and embedded into everyday work!

We’re looking for an exceptionally skilled engineer who thrives at the intersection of product and technology.

In this role, you’ll build and scale the core functionality behind Goodstack’s workplace giving product, helping companies and employees support causes & charities directly through their workflow. If you have a strong engineering background, enjoy building secure, scalable systems, and want to work for a company making a hugely positive societal impact, this could be the perfect role for you.

As Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, your mission will be to:

• Build end-to-end features that power donation & volunteering flows for employees.

• Integrate with payroll, HR, and payment providers to make giving seamless.

• Day to day you will be expected to write code and be involved in planning, product, and delivery.

• Be involved on a highly technical level, helping establish and build best practices regarding technologies used.

• Ensure high code quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.

• Work closely with product, design, and engineering peers.

• Contribute to product strategy through a user-centric, data-driven mindset.

• Participate in architectural decisions that shape the platform.

• Mentor engineers and help grow the team’s technical capabilities.

This role is a perfect match for you if you have experience in:

• 5+ years in software development.

• Experience with React and Node.js, and TypeScript (or JavaScript).

• Strong understanding of databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with monitoring systems, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

• Experience with frontend optimisation.

• A product-driven mindset.

• Working on a large or complex production codebase, developing secure, scalable, resilient systems.

• Contributing towards product thinking.

• A formal software engineering degree is very much welcome but not required.

After 3 months, success will look like:

• Know your teammates well and feel comfortable in your new surroundings.

• You’ve shipped features that directly impact our Workplace Giving product.

• You’re mostly ramped on the product, processes, and workflows.

• You will have found the free sock merch in the office.
