Where You Fit

We’re looking for an Accessioning Technician to support our Biopharma lab operations, ensuring high-quality receipt, accessioning, and management of clinical trial samples in a CAP/CLIA-compliant and GCP-guided environment. This role is critical to maintaining sample integrity and enabling timely processing to support our clinical and translational research partnerships.

What You’ll Do

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of clinical trial and research samples.
• Review and document shipment contents, temperature logs, packaging, labeling, and any discrepancies.
• Accession samples into the Lab Information System (LIS) and allocate to appropriate workflows.
• Coordinate with histotechnicians and scanning technicians for seamless sample hand-offs.
• Maintain and calibrate barcode scanners and label printers per manufacturer specs.
• Monitor daily lab trial activities, update manifests, and track progress in LIS.
• Ensure end-to-end chain of custody is maintained and documented for all samples.
• Communicate discrepancies or shipment failures to lab leads and project stakeholders per SOPs.
• Prepare daily status updates and metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage requests for sample re-processing due to quality control issues.
• Handle retrieval and re-entry of archived samples into LIS and manage inventory updates.
• Coordinate outbound shipments to sponsors or central labs as needed.
• Identify and report non-conformities and participate in CAPA processes.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with GCP, CLIA, and chain-of-custody protocols is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly learn and navigate complex workflows.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
