The Role
Complementing our dental AI capabilities, Overjet is expanding into CBCT-based diagnostic reporting and radiology workflows. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a qualified Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist to review AI-generated CBCT radiology reports and provide final interpretation and approval. In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise to validate and enhance AI-generated findings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance. You will play a critical role in bridging advanced imaging technology with high-quality diagnostic standards, supporting providers in delivering optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret CBCT scans and associated AI-generated radiology reports
Provide final diagnostic review, edits, and formal approval on reports
Ensure reports meet clinical, legal, and documentation standards
Identify discrepancies between AI findings and clinical interpretation, providing feedback to improve model performance
Collaborate with internal clinical, product, and engineering teams to refine reporting workflows
Participate in calibration and quality assurance sessions to maintain consistency and accuracy
Qualifications
D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
Board certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience interpreting CBCT scans
Active, unrestricted dental license
Strong proficiency in CBCT imaging interpretation and radiologic pathology
Prior experience with radiology reporting and documentation standards
Comfort working with digital platforms and remote review tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Position Details:
Location: Remote
Type: Part-time, 1099 Contractor, ~5 hours per week for a 4 week engagement (possibility of extending)
