Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring an Intern to join our Insurance Marketing Team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the launch of two new brands under the Oscar Health umbrella. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives across multiple marketing channels while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You'll gain exposure to brand building from the ground up and take ownership of meaningful projects that directly influence go-to-market success.

This includes maintaining status documentation, coordinating cross-functional meetings, facilitating feedback sessions, managing timelines, and capturing clear meeting notes along with actionable next steps.

You will report into the Head of Lucie Marketing.

Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The hourly pay for this role is: $27- $35 an hour. You are also eligible for employee benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the new brands and take ownership of key marketing initiatives and tactics

  • Collaborate with design, product, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive brand execution
  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations
  • Partner with Compliance to review all materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience in all Google products (documents, slides, sheets)
  • Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., CRM platforms, email marketing tools, CMS) is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt

Bonus points:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Healthcare or healthcare related experience including healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, healthcare finance, or related field
  • Experience in fast-paced environments
