About the role:
We're seeking a bold, strategic, and mission-driven Head of Corporate Marketing to shape how we show up across the healthcare landscape. This leader will drive our corporate brand narrative (in partnership with communications and brand), digital presence, events strategy, and strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen trust, credibility, and connection with members, employers, partners, and communities. This role will partner closely with our Corporate Communication, Brand and Creative teams, as well as the Marketing leaders attached to Oscar's line of business (Insurance Marketing and Marketplace Marketing) to drive a cohesive, unified brand strategy across the entire business—ensuring our mission, values, and impact come through clearly and powerfully in every channel.
You will report into the VP, Communications and Brand.
Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $192,000 - $252,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Leadership & StrategyPartner with Corporate Communications, Brand and Creative teams, plus the VP of Insurance Marketing and VP of Marketplace Marketing, to shape a unified brand vision and cross-company narrative.
- Define and evolve our brand identity, positioning, and system to reflect the realities, challenges, and possibilities of healthcare.
- Build messaging frameworks that empower all teams to communicate with clarity, humanity, and consistency.
- Develop long-range brand strategies that support company growth, improve experience, and differentiate us in a complex, competitive healthcare environment.
- Corporate Digital Presence & ReputationOwn all corporate digital assets—including the corporate and business websites, blogs, and flagship brand platforms.
- Strengthen and steward the company's digital reputation across channels where consumers, employers, partners, and regulators form perceptions.
- Build and execute SEO strategies and AI-driven approaches that boost authority, visibility, and trust in a crowded healthcare market.
- Events, Community, & PartnershipsOwn the corporate events portfolio and strategy, ensuring every event—industry, community, and stakeholder-facing—reinforces who we are and what we stand for.
- Lead community relations partnerships, sponsorships and initiatives that deepen trust with members, local partners, and health system stakeholders.
- Manage strategic partnerships that strengthen brand visibility, drive influence, and reinforce our role as an innovative force in healthcare.
- Brand Experience & StewardshipEnsure cohesive, high-quality brand expression in conjunction with the Oscar Health Brand team across every member, employer, partner, and regulatory touchpoint.
- Strengthen brand governance systems and cross-functional alignment to maintain consistency and excellence.
- Champion a brand-first mindset across teams working in health insurance, Marketplace, clinical services, operations, and more.
- Leadership & CollaborationBuild, mentor, and inspire a high-performing corporate marketing team.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Insurance Marketing and VP of Marketplace Marketing to align brand strategy across segments and audiences.
- Partner with leaders across Product, Growth, People, Clinical, and Executive Leadership on cross-company initiatives.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships for top-tier creative, digital, and experience execution.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 15+ years in marketing, with significant experience in healthcare, health plans, regulated industries, or mission-driven consumer brands.
- Deep expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, SEO, and emerging AI-driven content approaches.
- A proven ability to lead complex, high-impact brand initiatives across multiple business lines or segments.
- Exceptional storytelling skills—able to translate complex healthcare concepts into clear, human, emotionally resonant communication.
- Experience overseeing corporate events, partnerships, or community-facing programs.
- A track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
