THE ROLE
We’re looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial Sr. Manager of Strategic Finance & Operations to join our leadership team. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution.
You’ll work directly with the CEO to define strategic priorities, operationalize growth initiatives, and own the financial and operating backbone that keeps Origin moving efficiently. The ideal candidate has a background in investment banking or management consulting, with experience scaling strategic finance and biz ops functions at a high-growth startup.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with executive leadership to drive company-wide strategic initiatives—from monetization strategy and pricing to cost structure and resource allocation.
- Own financial modeling, company-wide forecasting, and performance reporting. You’ll be our internal source of truth on KPIs.
- Lead end-to-end revenue operations: funnel optimization, forecasting, sales & CS ops, and marketing attribution.
- Manage the Customer Support function, including direct oversight of a high-performing team and its team lead. Maintain excellence in customer experience while scaling support systems and processes that align with our growth.
- Coach, develop, and operationalize the team to uphold Origin’s high service bar, while working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to integrate customer insights.
- Analyze data and market trends to drive actionable insights on CAC, LTV, payback, retention, and other growth levers.
- Design and implement scalable systems and processes that improve our operating rhythm as we grow.
- Own cross-functional special projects that require analytical horsepower, operational rigor, and strong project management.
- Support board-level materials, investor updates, and capital planning.
- Be a strategic thought partner to the CEO, and department leaders—offering structure, insight, and follow-through.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years of total experience, ideally with a mix of:
- Early-career training in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance
- 2–4+ years in a strategic finance or biz ops leadership role at a high-growth startup
- Exceptional modeling, data analysis, and critical thinking skills—you use data to frame problems and guide decisions
- Strong command of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and GTM operations
- Experience with CRM and RevOps tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Looker, SQL, Excel/Sheets, etc.)
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive alignment, and ship projects fast
- Executive-level communication—written, verbal, and visual
- A strong bias for action and ownership; you love building processes that work and making teams more effective
