Position description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Technician specializing in Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, and Hematology to join our growing laboratory team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing diagnostic tests using both manual and automated laboratory equipment while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, and handle patient samples in accordance with established laboratory procedures and quality standards.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Analyze test findings and accurately document results for medical review.
• Follow laboratory safety guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workspaces and equipment.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel and healthcare professionals to ensure timely reporting of results.
• Assist in implementing new laboratory procedures, methodologies, and process improvements.
• Participate in training and continuous learning programs to stay updated with industry advancements.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Technician, DMLT, BMLT etc
• Proven experience of 4 - 6 years as a Lab Technician in a diagnostic laboratory, with a focus on Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, and Hematology.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with both manual and automated laboratory instruments used in diagnostic testing.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the company's operational needs.
