Job role - Associate Manager - Influencer Marketing

Are you fluent in Instagram's language and a skilled negotiator with influencers? If so, we're on the lookout for an Influencer Whisperer to play a crucial role in expanding our brand's digital presence through strategic engagement with social media influencers, primarily on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Success in this position relies on strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of current social media trends.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Influencer Identification:
  • Conduct thorough research to pinpoint potential influencers aligned with our brand and target audience.
  • Analyse influencer metrics, engagement rates, and audience demographics to ensure they align with our marketing objectives.
  • Outreach and Relationship Building:
  • Initiate and maintain effective communication with influencers through various channels, including email, direct messages, and various social media platforms.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with influencers to establish long-lasting partnerships.
  • Campaign Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to craft compelling campaigns and promotional strategies tailored to influencers.
  • Provide influencers with the necessary information, guidelines, and materials for effectively promoting our products.
  • Negotiation and Agreement:
  • Negotiate terms, content creation requirements, compensation, and campaign timelines with influencers.
  • Ensure agreements are transparent, mutually beneficial, and aligned with the brand's values and messaging.
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of influencer campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Keep a close eye on crucial performance indicators (KPIs) like reach, engagement, and conversion rates to gauge the overall success of the campaign.
  • Budget Management:
  • Operate within allocated budgets, optimising spending to maximise the impact of influencer marketing efforts and increase the ROI
  • Offer consistent updates on the utilisation of the budget and performance metrics.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in influencer marketing.
  • Profound understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to be creative and has strategic thinking to craft compelling influencer campaigns.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
