As a Capture Specialist, you will work closely with program leadership, functional teams, and customers in a fast-paced environment. At Onebrief, a rapidly growing company, team members must be resourceful, creative, and proactive in handling complex matters.

About The Job

  • You will assist in managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.
  • Support proposal preparation and contract review.
  • Help identify, develop, and implement new contract policies and processes.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of contracting vehicles.
  • Perform contract review and acceptance processes.
  • Prepare and manage contract proposal planning.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive audit files for each contract, including all correspondence, changes, modifications, and deliverables.
  • Provide contract summaries and ensure execution in accordance with government and company policies.
  • Support program managers and executives with contract briefs throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Oversee and manage the administration of contracts from the point of award through contract closure.
  • Assist in the contract close-out process for government contracts.
  • Support the negotiation and management of sub-contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain liaisons with contractors to clarify standard and special contract provisions, interpret contractual obligations and resolve problems through life of contract and conduct closeout.
  • May be required to travel on an occasional basis (:10%).


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in government contracting, including familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations and other relevant guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of contract management principles and processes.
  • Proven experience in handling both pre-award and post-award contract activities.
  • Excellent skills in negotiation, communication, and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cost estimation and price analysis.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
