As a Senior Analytics Engineer at OM1, you’ll be a key part of modeling and processing our large Real World Data Cloud to transform it into useful clinical insights. You’ll build data-oriented product features, translate business requirements into technical specifications, evolve our database schemas, and provide technical leadership to our growing data platform.

What You'll Do at OM1

  • Lead data product development projects from requirements gathering through to execution
  • Craft high-quality, well-tested, scalable solutions for the OM1 Real World Data Cloud
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements to technical specifications
  • Run, maintain, and debug data models to deliver OM1’s data products and applications
  • Mentor other engineers, sharing your experience and engineering skills
  • Take leadership on core strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with Product Management and platform users in an agile environment, breaking down ideas into actionable pieces

What Experience You'll Bring

  • Strong programming skills in popular data engineering languages such as SQL and Python
  • Proven relational database experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, or similar
  • Experience building data assets using modern data tools and technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, or similar
  • Proven experience with data analysis and modeling using SQL, Python and dbt
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with large production datasets
  • Good technical judgment, knowing how and when to balance short term deliverables with long term investment
  • Experience working in healthcare or life sciences
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
