Odyssey is looking for a detail-oriented Executive Assistant & Office Manager to help anchor our Boston headquarters. As a key member of our operations team, you will ensure our office environment reflects the excellence of our mission.

You are the 'glue' that keeps our daily workflows moving, balancing essential executive support with the logistical needs of a first-class office. This is a dynamic role for a professional looking to build their career within a fast-growing startup, where your contributions directly impact our team’s culture and daily success. About you:
  • 2-4 years of experience in an executive assistant, office management, or administrative support role, ideally in biotech, pharma, or life sciences,with a track record of juggling multiple priorities without droppingdetails
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple senior executives simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools and a natural inclination to find smarter ways of working
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, polished and professional in all interactions, with a high degree of discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Zoom, DocuSign, and expense/PO systems
  • A warm, can-do presence and genuine pride in making the people and place around you operate at their best
  • Experience supporting legal operations, HR and knowledge of HRIS systems are all a plus
Office Operations
  • Own the day-to-day operations of our Boston office, ensuring the reception, kitchen, pantry, and supply areas are pristine, well-stocked, and fully functional, and oversee the managed lunch program, coordinating orders and vendors to keep the team fueled and connected
  • Serve as the outward face and point person for Boston-based visitors, coordinating registration and on-site visits
  • Responsible for mail, office packages and coordinating with operations team on site-based needs
Executive Support
  • Serve as a trusted administrative partner to designated senior leaders, owning their calendars, anticipating needs, and keeping their day running without friction
  • Handle purchase orders, expense reports, DocuSign workflows, and notarization for supported executives
  • Coordinate and bring to life onsite and offsite gatherings, from scientific meetings and working sessions to team celebrations and social events
AI & Workflow Innovation
  • Bring a strong proficiency in—or a proactive desire to master—modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI); you will take ownership of identifying and implementing AI-assisted workflows to automate manual tasks, streamline scheduling, and optimize administrative efficiency.
Cross-Functional Support
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Operations and HR teams as needed
