Our leadership team has helped scale multi-billion dollar companies from scratch including Samsara, Rubrik, Acko & Flexport, and includes industry veterans from Hiscox, AIG, The Hartford & RLI.</span></p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight:400;">We’re looking for a </span><strong>Business Development Manager </strong><span style="font-weight:400;">who is excited about a unique opportunity to help build modern commercial insurance from the ground up!</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight:400;">In this role, you will play a critical role in driving Nirvana’s growth by discovering, managing and building relationships with our agency partners, helping them realize the materially positive impact they can have on their insured’s operations, and communicating the integral role Nirvana can play in that.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight:400;">We’re a distributed team spread across the US and India, with offices in San Francisco, CA & Columbus, OH. For this role we’re open to candidates in the western or southeast regions of the United States.</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Leverage your existing relationships with transportation focused insurance agents and brokers and bring them into the Nirvana family</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Identify, prospect and build relationships with agents, brokers and key decision makers at transportation companies</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Develop and execute plans to achieve production goals and accelerate Nirvana’s growth</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Help agents and insureds understand the value of our unique safety tools</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Refine Nirvana’s messaging and positioning in the market</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Collaborate with product and underwriting to drive profitable growth</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Represent Nirvana at transportation conferences, associations, seminars, broker and client meetings</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Collaborate with the engineering team to iterate on our product offering(s)</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Travel as necessary to meet the responsibilities outlined above</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>About You</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">5+ years of experience in commercial insurance.
