Who we are:

Nirvana is on a mission to harness the power of data to revolutionize commercial insurance and enable a safer world. We are bringing much-needed innovation into the legacy, trillion-dollar commercial insurance industry. We have developed cutting-edge predictive models that use real-time IoT data from billions of connected devices, allowing us to better understand and price risk. Our AI-driven platform fundamentally changes the way an insurance company operates with personalized risk scoring, faster underwriting, modernized claims, and proactive, data-driven insights to help customers prevent accidents.

We’ve already proven the scale—reaching well over $100 million in premiums and more than doubling year over year. Our data moat is growing exponentially with more than 20 billion miles of telematics data, leading to more predictive models and new insights into how we can better understand and reduce risk. Altogether, our loss ratio, efficiency, and customer experience are redefining what can be done in the industry.

With $170+ million raised, including an industry-leading Series C round in January 2025, we’re only accelerating our growth, with strong support from top-tier VCs including Lightspeed, General Catalyst, and Valor. Nirvana’s leadership team has previously helped scale multi-billion-dollar companies from scratch, including Samsara, Rubrik, and Flexport, and includes industry veterans from Hiscox, The Hartford, and RLI.

About the role:

Nirvana is looking for a Junior Visual Designer to join our creative team and help us reimagine how insurance shows up in the world. This is a mentorship-driven role for someone early in their career who’s excited to learn, grow fast, and work on meaningful design challenges.

We’re not just making things look nice — we’re building a brand that feels human, bold, and clear in an industry that often feels outdated. Our ambition is to turn Nirvana into a design-driven company, and we’re looking for creative thinkers who want to help us get there.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design marketing and brand assets (social, emails, presentations, events).

  • Help maintain and evolve our design system and Figma library.

  • Collaborate across teams (marketing, product, web) on real projects.

  • Join design reviews and contribute ideas from day one.

  • Participate in creative research, brand audits, and content work.

Qualifications:

  • Basic to intermediate skills in Figma.

  • Passion for branding, storytelling, and creative thinking.

  • Open to feedback, curious, and eager to grow.

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.

  • Based in Chile and fluent in English (written + spoken).

  • Experience with Notion, Asana, or Jira is a plus

At Nirvana, junior designers don’t just execute — they grow. You’ll learn directly from a Senior Designer, work on real projects that shape our brand, and gain exposure to marketing, product, and strategy. This is a chance to build a meaningful portfolio, develop your creative voice, and grow in a team that values design as a core part of the business.

Please send your resume, portfolio (student work is totally welcome!), and a short note telling us why you think you’d be a great fit for this role — we’d love to hear how your skills, interests, or experiences connect with what we’re building at Nirvana. No need for a formal cover letter — just keep it real. We’re excited to meet you.

  • Competitive salary & equity
