About the role:

We’re looking for a Partner Activation Manager to play a key role in activating new distribution partners on our insurance products and driving business growth. This is a highly visible role responsible for assessing distribution partner fit, onboarding them onto our platform and nurturing long term engagement. This role will work closely with Business Development and other cross-functional teams to bring quality partners into the Nirvana distribution network.

We’re a remote-first, distributed team with offices in San Francisco, CA, Columbus, OH and New York, NY. For this role we’re open to candidates located in the United States.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner alongside Business Development in vetting, onboarding and managing new distribution relationships across multiple channels, including retail agencies, wholesalers and other points of aggregation.

  • Work closely with Business Development Leadership to propose which channels are best suited for business growth.

  • Gain commitment around production goals and hold distribution partners accountable.

  • Provide producers product education and additional support to ensure long term success and engagement.

  • Assist in building and continually improving Business Development strategies to ensure effective lead acquisition and strategic alignment.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Business Operations and Insurance teams to create strategy and materials around distribution partner adoption and to achieve production goals.

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in partner management, customer success, customer onboarding or related roles, preferably in the Insurance industry or intermediated sales.

  • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal. Must be comfortable presenting to customers and internal audiences.

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and strong problem solving skills.

  • Ability to drive complex projects with cross-functional teams on aggressive timelines.

  • Experience working across various agency channels is a plus.

  • Bias-to-action - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and stretch yourself.

  • Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions and results.

  • Successfully able to work in high-growth and ambiguous start-up environments.

We set our salary ranges using compensation data from companies similar to our stage and size. For this role, the estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 + variable. The actual base salary + variable will vary depending on multiple factors unique to each candidate, including location, job-related knowledge, transferable skills, work experience and our assessment of your level during the interview process.
