NewStore is looking for a Senior Product Manager to spearhead the vision and strategy of one or more areas of our platform. This role will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from defining the vision and priorities to working closely with cross-functional teams on delivery and launch. You will be responsible for deeply understanding the needs of our customers who are DTC retailers seeking to provide exceptional experiences. Through market research, data analysis, and customer engagement, you will identify opportunities to enhance our product and develop innovative solutions that delight users and drive business value.
In this crucial role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, and executives to align product strategy with business goals. You will champion a customer-centric mindset, ensuring our product roadmap addresses critical customer needs while balancing technical constraints and strategic objectives.
You’ll be working with a team of people passionate about retail to grow the best global cloud-based Unified Commerce Platform anchored in the market today.
🚀 What You'll Do
Craft a visionary product strategy for our product that aligns with company goals, differentiates in the market, and drives business growth
Become an authority on our users - conduct in-depth research to build empathy, understand pain points, and identify opportunities to elevate the customer experience
Spearhead customer engagements - lead discovery sessions, gather feedback, validate ideas, and translate insights into innovative, user-centric solutions
Inspire the cross-functional team through compelling vision and user-focused motivation to solve critical challenges
Develop a cutting-edge, data-driven roadmap prioritizing high-impact initiatives that delight customers and meet strategic objectives
Leverage data, hypotheses, and experimentation to continuously optimize the product experience and measure success through KPIs
Deeply understand the competitive landscape - stay ahead of the curve on industry trends to drive disruptive innovation and position NewStore to win
Launch game-changing solutions seamlessly by aligning cross-functional stakeholders on priorities, plans, and go-to-market
Mentor team members and proliferate product management expertise across the organization
Raise brand visibility - author thought leadership content and represent NewStore as an authority at industry events and conferences
In addition, you’ll be collaborating with a group of internal stakeholders including Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, and Product Marketing to ensure that our internal teams are fully enabled to succeed in the market with our solutions. You will also be a resource to all other NewStore team members who need help understanding how customers and prospects can use the strong capabilities of our platform to transform their omnichannel operations.
📚 Your Story
We are looking for someone with Product Management experience who has worked in a start-up or scale-up environment applying agile and lean principles. Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary to lead through influence in this fast paced environment. We want those that are equally comfortable with writing and refining user stories as researching complex industry areas to understand and explain user problems. You will enhance your knowledge of how our customers are using the platform by answering questions and researching issues for our support team as well as working directly with our customers to ensure the solution is working as designed and meeting the customers’ needs.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical product skills, business acumen, retail domain expertise, leadership abilities, and a customer-centric mindset to drive the product vision.
Experience and skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field required; MBA is a strong plus
5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS environments focused on CRM or enterprise retail/ecommerce solutions
Familiarity with retail operations, CRM, loyalty programs, and omnichannel strategies is a major plus
Proven track record of leading the full product lifecycle from strategic roadmap to successful delivery for complex, cross-platform products
Strong analytical abilities to apply data-driven methodologies, experimentation, and metrics to systematically explore problems and generate insights
Experience in user research, data analysis, experimentation, defining KPIs, and making data-informed product decisions
Expertise in agile product development methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams like engineering, design, customer success, sales, and marketing
Ability to understand and translate customer needs, market trends, and technical constraints into innovative product visions and strategies
Outstanding communication skills and have demonstrated ability to form consensus and commitment in an inclusive way, influence stakeholders, and drive teams towards clear goals.
Track record of achieving business goals and growth metrics through creative problem solving and product innovation
Strong leadership skills that is a proactive self starter
An entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
