At Databricks, we are passionate about helping data teams solve the world's toughest problems - from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business.
As a TPM Intern, you will be the primary driver behind the successful delivery of complex technical initiatives. You will navigate the lifecycle of a program - from initial scoping and requirement gathering to final launch and post-launch optimization. Your work will ensure that our technical roadmap is not only ambitious but executable, reliable, and aligned with our most important business goals.
What You’ll Own
- Cross-Functional Execution: Lead the delivery of high-visibility features, ensuring engineering milestones, product requirements, and business deadlines are perfectly synchronized.
- Program design: Navigate complex technical trade-offs and dependencies. You will design and implement processes that allow teams to move fast without breaking critical systems.
- Process Automation: Identify bottlenecks in the development lifecycle and leverage data-driven tools to increase the team’s overall velocity and transparency.
- Operational Excellence: Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to translate vague customer needs into crisp technical requirements, ensuring both cutting-edge innovation and enterprise-grade quality.
- GTM & Adoption: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure technical releases translate into business value. You’ll manage early access programs and build feedback loops to refine the product based on real-world usage.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a top-tier MBA program with a pre-MBA background in a technical field (Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, Data Science, etc.).
- Proven ability to drive clarity in ambiguous spaces, shaping strategy alongside technical leads and aligning stakeholders across the organization.
- Experience defining success metrics and using data (SQL, Python, or data visualization tools) to ground program decisions in objective analysis.
- Ability to provide concise written and verbal updates, translating deep technical hurdles into clear business risks for senior leadership.
- A proactive mindset - you don’t just report problems; you build the frameworks and processes to solve them at scale.
