Head of People Operations, Europe
We are looking for a Regional Head of People Operations, Europe to lead People Operations, Employee Relations, Payroll, Global Mobility, and People Compliance for the Neko Health's business operations in Sweden and Europe. You will ensure operational excellence, alignment with collective agreements, and adherence to labour frameworks.
Key Responsibility - People Operations
- Lead all People Operations activities for Europe , maintaining smooth, consistent, and compliant processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Ensure high data accuracy, documentation, and operational governance.
Key Responsibility - Employee Relations (ER)
- Own ER case management, including disciplinaries, investigations, performance cases, and workplace issues.
- Ensure alignment with labour law and collective bargaining agreements.
- Partner with union representatives and maintain positive union relations.
- Coach managers on ER matters and proactively identify ER risks and work with regional People partners to manage and educate business
Key Responsibility - Payroll
- Oversee Swedish payroll, benefits, pension schemes, and statutory reporting.
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing in partnership with Finance.
Key Responsibility - People Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Swedish employment legislation and local regulatory requirements.
- Own policy governance, documentation, and GDPR/data privacy responsibilities for Sweden and Eeurope
- Maintain audit-ready processes and drive continual improvements.
Key Responsibility - Employee Relations
- Lead the global ER framework, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant case management.
- Provide senior guidance on disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and performance matters.
- Build ER capability through training, playbooks, and governance structures.
Experience and Skills
- 10-12 years of strong People Operations leadership experience in Sweden.
- Deep understanding of Swedish labour law, collective agreements, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ER experience, including working with unions.
- Strong payroll and benefits knowledge.
- Experience handling mobility and immigration processes.
