About Neko Health

Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. This requires completely reimagining the healthcare experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI. We are a remote first company, but the company is based in Stockholm and has 40 employees across Europe.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the overall manufacturing and prototyping process for our medical devices, ensuring the production of high-quality, reliable, and innovative products.
• Lead and inspire a team of up to 10 members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate closely with our R&D and Quality Assurance departments to incorporate feedback into the prototyping process.
• Manage inventory and logistics to ensure the timely production and delivery of devices.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to the manufacturing and prototyping process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Maintain adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices within the medical device industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably within the medical device sector.
• Experience with optical systems is a plus
• Proven track record of successfully leading manufacturing and prototyping efforts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, and quality assurance within the medtech industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to developing and mentoring team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
