Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.
We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce.
Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.
In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.
But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.
Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.
The Opportunity
Senior Product Manager - Learning Architecture
The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?
We are looking for an influential and innovative Senior Product Manager to guide the strategy for our most foundational technical products within the Product Fundamentals Group. You’ll bring the best of agile and lean, throw in data-led decision-making, and create real value for both our internal learning department and our learners.
In this B2B2C role, you act as a Driver responsible for the core learner capabilities across our platform. While you will influence the roadmap for our AI-powered guide, Atlas, your primary ownership lies in optimizing the content pipeline and scaling it globally to drive measurable learner retention. You will lead the effort to make our upskilling platform highly engaging, ensuring that newly acquired skills are repeatedly applied to real-world problems at work.
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
As Multiverse has evolved and scaled recently, we are focused on becoming the defining case study for AI in the workforce.
Ownership: Integrate into your cross-functional squad and take full accountability for the delivery roadmap, moving with the speed that our strategy demands.
Product Leadership: Build strong relationships with the Learning and Operations departments, and within the Tech department, to translate complex business needs into a technical roadmap; you will act as the bridge between platform capabilities and application delivery to manage dependencies across the tech org.
Content Optimisation: Develop a strategic approach to content delivery that ensures high-quality learning is optimised at scale, enabling the business to rapidly deploy engaging material while remaining compliant with apprenticeship regulations.
AI as the Engine: Transition from viewing AI as an add-on to making it the engine that optimizes our content pipeline and learner personalization.
Outcome Measurement: Define and track success metrics that shift the focus from output to true customer value and learner impact.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Solve for Customer Value: You'll start every decision by asking how it creates value for our paying customers and learners, identifying and improving their successful behaviors daily.
Be Decisive in Ambiguity: You will lead product discovery and definition in a fast-paced environment, making bold calls even when faced with "unknown unknowns".
Regulatory Navigation: You will ensure the product is not only engaging but adheres to the complex regulations surrounding apprenticeship levy markets.
Roadmap & Backlog Management: You will build and prioritize your own 18 months roadmap, maintaining a balance between technical quality and the speed of delivery.
Stakeholder Management: You will partner with the Product Director, Engineering Director, and key leaders within the Learning and Operations departments to ensure your roadmap supports the strategic priorities.
What do you bring?
Experience: 4+ years as a Product Manager of cross-functional teams that deliver excellent software.
Data Modeling: You have a strong background in data modeling and understand how to leverage complex data structures to provide insights and recommendations that drive product strategy
AI Mindset: Active curiosity in applying AI/ML to enhance workflows and a belief that AI is our primary engine for delivering outcomes.
Multi-Audience: You have a proven track record of shipping products that serve multiple audiences - balancing the requirements of internal teams (Learning & Ops) to engage and retain our external users (Learners).
Agile Mindset: Deep understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Scrum or Kanban frameworks
Extra Points:
Background in Data Science/Analysis
Experience in B2C retention
Experience in developing and managing content systems
Prior work in a highly regulated industry
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
Each team at Multiverse has an Engineering Manager, 4-6 Engineers, and a Product Designer. You will also regularly collaborate with User Researchers and Data Scientists to ensure we are building the right product for the right reasons.
You will report to the Product Director for the Group. Our culture is one of support, coaching, and facilitation; we empower our teams to drive their own direction and priorities rather than micro-managing. We thrive on open debate, high standards, and continuous development.
