Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.

We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce.

Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.

In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.

But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.

Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.

Our Mission

At Multiverse, we're a tech company with a mission: we’re building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training to develop a diverse group of future leaders. We've raised a $220m Series D to scale our impact, and we're now training over 8,000 professional apprentices in the skills of the future. Our work is changing lives by democratising access to great careers.

The Opportunity

The Reward and People Analytics team is the nerve centre for data-driven insights at Multiverse. We ensure we not only attract and retain top talent through compelling reward programs but also understand the entire employee lifecycle through robust analytics. Our work provides the critical data that empowers our leaders to make smarter, more empathetic decisions about our people.

As our new Reward and People Analytics Specialist, you will sit at the unique intersection of these two critical functions. Reporting to the Head of Reward and People Analytics, you will not only be an architect of our compensation programs but also the storyteller behind our people data. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to see the full picture, using quantitative insights to shape everything from individual compensation to broad talent strategy.

What You'll Do & The Impact You'll Make

In this dual-focus role, you will be empowered to:

In Reward:

Own Our Compensation Foundations: You will build and evolve our global compensation frameworks, including job architecture, levelling guides, and salary ranges. Your work will ensure we remain competitive in the market and equitable internally.

  • Facilitate Compensation Cycles: You will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our core compensation processes, including annual and mid-year salary reviews, bonus payouts, and equity grants. This involves everything from budget modelling and data analysis to flawless execution.

  • Design and Innovate Reward Programs: Move beyond the day-to-day by contributing to the design and implementation of our variable pay plans. You will analyse the effectiveness of our current bonus, Go-To-Market (GTM) compensation, and equity plans, recommending data-driven enhancements.

  • Act as a Trusted Advisor: You'll be the go-to expert for the People & Talent team and business leaders on all things related to reward. You will provide expert guidance on new hire offers, promotions, and complex compensation queries, empowering them with the right data and insights.

  • Enhance Our Total Rewards Offering: Contribute to our holistic benefits strategy by benchmarking our offerings, ensuring compliance and governance, and recommending improvements to support our team's wellbeing.

  • Partner in Strategic People Projects: Bring your critical reward expertise to cross-functional initiatives, whether it's implementing a new compensation module in our HRIS or providing labour cost analysis for organisational design changes.

In People Analytics:

  • Unlock Insights from People Data: Dive into our data to analyse key trends across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, engagement, performance, diversity & inclusion, and attrition, providing actionable insights to the business.

  • Develop and Maintain People Dashboards: Design, build, and manage dashboards and reports in our HRIS systems to provide leaders with self-service access to key people metrics.

  • Support Data-Driven Storytelling: Partner with the wider People & Talent team to provide the data and analysis needed to support strategic initiatives, measure their impact, and build business cases.

  • Champion Data Integrity: Act as a guardian for our people data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across our systems (e.g., our HRIS) to build a reliable foundation for all analytics.

What We're Looking For

We're excited to speak with candidates who have:

  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years of dedicated experience in a Compensation or Reward role, ideally within a fast-paced, scaling technology environment.

  • Exceptional Analytical & Quantitative Skills: A passion for turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is essential.

  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: A commitment to quality and accuracy and an understanding of how small details have a big impact on people and the business.

  • Clear, Concise Communication: The ability to simplify complex data and concepts, presenting them in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders at all levels.

  • A Collaborative Spirit: You thrive on working with cross-functional partners in the People team, Finance, and across the wider business to achieve shared goals.

  • A Proactive & Curious Mindset: You're not content with just the 'what'. You constantly seek to understand the 'why' behind the data and stay ahead of market trends to help Multiverse maintain its competitive edge.
