We have also established the first AI-enabled movie studio in Hollywood, filled with accomplished filmmakers and visionary creative talent. Role Summary:
We're seeking an experienced VP of Strategic Partnerships to build and lead our partnerships organization during a period of hypergrowth. In this key business leadership role, you'll establish our partnership strategy, secure relationships with major technology platforms and drive integrations that expand our market reach and product capabilities. You will be a key member of our business leadership team, representing our technology to potential partners and championing their needs internally.
What you’ll do:
Define and Execute Partnership Strategy: Develop and implement our global partnership strategy to accelerate growth, enhance our product offering, and expand our market presence with major cloud platforms, enterprise software providers, and creative tools.
Secure Strategic Integrations: Lead efforts to integrate our AI video technology into established platforms and creative tools. Build relationships with cloud service providers to offer our model through their marketplaces and establish our capabilities within existing enterprise workflows and tools.
Drive Partnership Revenue: Negotiate meaningful partnership agreements with terms that support our business objectives. Develop effective go-to-market strategies with partners to drive mutual success and tangible revenue impact.
Build Executive Relationships: Foster relationships with key decision-makers at potential partner organizations. Serve as a primary representative of the company in partnership discussions, effectively articulating our technology's value proposition and strategic benefits.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, AI research, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to align on partnership initiatives. Bring the voice of partners into Moonvalley to influence product development and strategic decisions.
Establish the Partnerships Function: Create the foundation for a high-performing partnerships organization by developing effective processes, establishing metrics for success, and bringing on additional talent as we scale.
Drive Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes in gen AI video. Represent Moonvalley at industry conferences and events to build relationships and drive brand awareness
What we’re looking for:
8+ years of partnerships or business development experience with senior leadership exposure, including success building strategic partnerships in technology, SaaS, and/or AI
Track record of securing impactful partnerships with technology platforms, including experience navigating technical integrations and implementation requirements
Strong relationship-building abilities with executives at technology companies, combined with effective negotiation skills and experience structuring win-win agreements
Strategic vision paired with practical execution capabilities, including the ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into compelling business value propositions
Experience building partnerships processes that can scale, with the adaptability to work effectively in a growing organization
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology concepts to diverse audiences
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results in an evolving market
