This role is a 9 - 12 month fixed term contract. We are happy to work around what your personal preference would be regarding the initial length of contract.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an immediately available Compensation Lead to join our Reward team. As a fast paced, progressive and dynamic organisation, we’re looking for someone who is highly adaptable, thinks critically and is able to work collaboratively across the business.

Reporting to the VP of Reward, you’ll be responsible for all non-equity compensation activity across Monzo globally, including benchmarking, salary bands, annual pay review and senior offer package design, as well as contributing towards the evolution of our wider reward and compensation strategy and frameworks.

The role

With the support of a Reward Analyst, you’ll lead on:

  • Annual pay review
  • Monzo’s job architecture, pay frameworks and bands
  • Researching market trends to ensure that our pay frameworks remain competitive
  • Acting as compensation lead and partner to our Technology team ensuring that we evolve our pay strategy to remain competitive
  • Partnering with our Hiring team to help deliver a consistently world-class experience for prospective candidates
  • Compensation reporting and MI (including gender pay gap reporting)

In addition, you’ll act as a reward partner for Monzo’s senior Technology leaders, ensuring that our approach and processes support the attraction and retention of top talent within the competitive tech sector.

You should apply if:

  • You’ve led compensation activity within a large technology company in the UK or USA
  • You can demonstrate expertise Radford and Willis Towers Watson benchmarking
  • You’re highly adaptable and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment

The Interview Process:

Our interview process involves three main stages:

  • Recruiter Call - phone call (30mins)
  • Initial Call - video call via Google Meet (30 mins)
  • Role Specific & Values interview - video call via Google Meet (x2 60mins)

Our average process takes around 2-3 weeks but we will always work around your availability.
