The Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the People team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Mistral AI’s growth by partnering with hiring managers to attract, engage, and secure top-tier talent across Corporate, GTM, Solutions, Product, Engineering and Science. In a fast-paced and competitive landscape, you’ll drive innovative strategies to identify and hire exceptional candidates who align with our mission and accelerate our impact. As an early member, you’ll have the unique opportunity to influence how recruitment is done at Mistral, setting the foundation for how we scale talent acquisition in a high-growth, high-impact environment
What You Will Do
Drive talent attraction by engaging high-potential candidates across diverse functions and geographies.
Own the candidate journey, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and a best-in-class experience at every stage.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, streamline interview processes, and align on talent priorities.
Tackle complex hiring challenges, filling critical roles in multi-location settings with precision and urgency.
Leverage data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to refine talent processes.
Innovate and improve by proposing and implementing enhancements to workflows, documentation, and tools.
Elevate standards in candidate experience and recruitment effectiveness through cross-functional collaboration.
Build scalable systems and best practices to support rapid growth.
Embody our culture as an ambassador, internally and externally.

What We're Looking For
Proven experience: 5+ years in recruiting, preferably in tech, high-growth, or competitive environments.
Functional expertise: Deep experience hiring for Enterprise GTM, Corporate, Product, Engineering or Science roles.
Market savvy: Ability to own and execute searches independently in highly competitive talent landscapes.
Data-driven mindset: Skilled at analyzing metrics to solve problems and optimize recruitment processes.
Global perspective: Experience with international hiring and fluent English communication.
Stakeholder influence: Ability to advise and align senior leaders with credibility and diplomacy.
Hands-on execution: Capable of balancing strategy with operational excellence, staying organized and disciplined.
Tool proficiency: Familiarity with modern ATS (e.g. Ashby), LinkedIn search, scheduling (e.g. Modernloop), and AI-driven productivity tools is a plus.
