Company Summary:

Mirvie is shaping the future of pregnancy health by enabling proactive, personalized and preventive pregnancy care for the well-being of millions of moms and babies. Complications such as preterm birth and preeclampsia affect 1 in 5 pregnancies, with large economic costs and lifelong health consequences for mom and baby. Our proprietary Mirvie RNA platform is the first to predict unexpected complications months before symptoms appear by revealing the underlying biology of each pregnancy. This breakthrough opens a new window into pregnancy health, allowing pregnant women, expecting parents and their doctors to act and intervene before unexpected complications become a crisis. Personalized detection of early disease also promises more equitable care than today’s use of generalized clinical factors that often result in bias. Our mission-driven team of world-class scientists and entrepreneurs have previously brought to market category-first, noninvasive tests used by millions today. The company is headquartered in South San Francisco, California. For more information, please go to the company’s website at www.mirvie.com.
