The company is looking for a Technical Alliances Manager.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Alliances Manager with a strong focus on business development, technical collaboration, and joint solutions creation. This role will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of MinIO’s technology partnerships and aligning joint solutions with partner ecosystems. You will be key in executing technical collaborations, benchmarking, and co-creating solution briefs, white papers, blogs, and press releases. By building strong relationships with technology partners, you will play a critical role in developing joint go-to-market strategies that drive business growth.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and build new strategic alliances with key technology providers (e.g., ISVs, hardware vendors), aiming to expand MinIO’s ecosystem and market presence.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with partners on technical initiatives to ensure successful solution integration, optimization, and deployment, enhancing the value of joint offerings.
  • Joint Solutions Creation: Drive the development of joint solutions with partners, including product integration, architecture design, and technical benchmarking. Work closely with partners to validate and optimize solutions.
  • Content Creation & Thought Leadership: Develop and collaborate on technical content such as solution briefs, white papers, blogs, and press releases that highlight joint solutions, technical integrations, and successful partner engagements.
  • Benchmarking & Performance Testing: Lead benchmarking initiatives with partners to demonstrate the performance and scalability of MinIO’s solutions within various partner environments.
  • Business Development: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive joint business development strategies, leveraging technical collaborations to unlock new revenue opportunities and increase MinIO’s market reach.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with internal teams to develop and execute joint go-to-market plans, including marketing campaigns, co-branded content, joint events, and product launches.
  • Sales Support & Collaboration: Provide technical expertise and support to partner sales teams, helping them position and sell MinIO solutions to joint customers effectively.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback: Track industry trends, partner feedback, and competitive developments, offering insights to refine MinIO’s product strategy and business development initiatives.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in technical alliances & business development, ideally within the cloud or enterprise software industries.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to engage in solution architecture, benchmarking, and co-develop technical content.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic technology partnerships and driving joint solution creation.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a proven ability to create compelling technical content (white papers, solution briefs, blogs, etc.).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver business development strategies and technical collaborations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native storage solutions, technology integrations, and industry trends.
  • Self-starter with a business-driven mindset and a passion for developing innovative solutions with partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.

  • The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

MinIO determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
