We are seeking a passionate, driven, and energetic individual to lead our Deal Desk and Finance Operations efforts.

Reporting to the CFO, the Manager, Deal Desk and Finance Operations will be critical in establishing and managing multiple finance and legal processes. S/he will work closely with the CFO and other senior finance leaders to ensure MinIO can develop necessary processes to scale its Finance operations as it is undergoing its aggressive growth phase by (1) ensuring compliance with the necessary internal Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Legal processes; and (2) assisting with the implementation and adoption of various internal technologies necessary for effective Quote-to-Cash, Contract Lifecycle Management, and other key processes.

Initially, this role is focused on Finance and Legal processes related to MinIO’s sales execution. As the company grows, you will have the opportunity to take leadership roles in other Revenue Operations and Analytics efforts.

More specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance and Legal leadership to ensure all bottom-of-the-funnel processes are efficient, well documented, and comply with MinIO business needs
  • Contribute to the implementation of SalesForce Configure Price Quote (“SFDC CPQ”) and Sage Contracts modules to ensure accurate tracking, invoicing, and revenue recognition for MinIO customer contracts
  • Assist with the administration of variable sales compensation
  • Consult MinIO Sales Professional on the best ways to structure the financial component of large, complex deals
  • Develop data-driven methodologies and own analytics to identify friction points in MinIO customer negotiations; propose solutions to remove friction
  • Manage tracking and reporting of custom contract terms through in a scalable way

  • BS in Finance or equivalent
  • Five + years of combined experience in technology, finance, or consulting, with at least two years of work experience directly related to scaling operations in a growing technology company
  • SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with SalesForce and Sage Intacct is preferred
  • General knowledge of accounting principles with respect to revenue recognition and ability/willingness to learn
