As we grow we are seeking a Business Development Representative with a proven track record in B2B enterprise software sales. The ideal candidate is adept at developing outbound sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and leveraging technical tools for effective communication. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, navigating sales opportunities, and fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage MinIO’s intelligence systems to identify potential prospects and generate leads
  • Develop strategies to convert existing MinIO’s vast ecosystem of open source users into commercial customers
  • Craft creative, personalized emails and email sequences to articulate the value of a commercial relationship with the goal of meetings and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing team to enhance lead generation efforts
  • Constantly assess the data on the work, continuously optimizing
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Utilize the full suite of technology tools (SFDC, Hubspot, Outreach) tools to track interactions, progress, and conversions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on data infrastructure SaaS solutions
  • We will look at recent college graduates with exceptional credentials (school, GPA, track record of achievement)
  • Exceptional writing and phone communication skills, capable of engaging and persuading C-level executives
  • Highly creative approach to sales and problem-solving, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in email sequencing and platforms, with a strong understanding of digital communication tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Software, Data Analytics or a related field preferred

Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors, including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills and location.

This role will not be bonus based. Salary is adjusted accordingly.
